臨床試験のデザインと実施を効率化するVeeva Vault EDCの提供を開始

臨床試験が複雑になり、データ量が増加するにつれて、従来のEDCシステムでは対応が困難になってきました。個別のシステムを統合するのは難しく、大量のデータを収集すると、しばしばパフォーマンスが低下します。試験計画を改定するには、コストや時間をかけてデータを移行する必要があり、システムの休止時間も生じます。

そこで、柔軟性の高いVeeva Vault EDCを導入することで、臨床試験データマネジメント部門が複雑な試験をスピーディーにデザインし、改定まで容易に管理ができるようになり、データを移行する必要がなく、休止時間も生じません。最新のクラウドアーキテクチャを採用しているため、他の臨床アプリケーションとの統合や、データ量の増大に応じた拡張も容易です。パーソナライズしたビューや優先順位を付けたタスクをもとに、最も重要な作業に注力することも可能です。臨床試験チームは臨床試験の計画や実施をさらに効率化し、スピードアップできるようになりました。

Veeva Vault EDCは単独での利用はもちろん、電磁化されたソースデータが入力されるVault eSource(2017年12月に提供予定)に入力された電磁化された原資料と組み合わせて利用することも可能です。Vault EDCとVault eSourceの併用により、被験者データをEDCシステムに再入力する作業が不要になり、CRA(Clinical Research Associate)がコストや時間をかけてSDV(Source Data Verification)を検証する必要もなくなります。
