2018年6月6日発表（東京）‐2Kは、NBA公認の大人気バスケットボールゲーム『NBA 2K』シリーズの熱烈なファンでもあるレブロン・ジェームズ（LeBron James）を、記念すべき20周年を迎える最新作である『NBA 2K19』 20周年記念エディションのカバー選手（表紙）に起用することを発表すると同時に、通常版の日本発売が9月11日（火）、20周年記念エディションの日本発売は9月7日（金）を予定していることを発表致しました。

『NBA 2K19』 20周年記念エディションを予約購入いただくと、レブロン・ジェームズをテーマにした限定コンテンツやアイテムに加え、通常版より4日早い9月7日（金）からゲームをプレイすることができる予定です。

2018年6月6日発表（東京）‐2Kは、NBAチャンピオンに3回、NBA MVPに4回輝き、『NBA 2K』シリーズの熱烈なファンでもあるレブロン・ジェームズ（LeBron James）を、『NBA 2K19』 20周年記念エディションのカバー選手（表紙）に起用することを発表しました。ジェームズ自身に加え、彼が自ら選んだ言葉がアーティスティックに配置されたこのカバーは、見る人に強い印象を与えます。また、“Strive for Greatness（達成する努力）”、“Driven（気力）”、“Equality（平等）”など、選ばれた言葉は彼にとって特別な意味を持つものばかりです。

NBAオールスター選出14回の実績を誇り、現在NBAで15年目のシーズンを迎えているレブロン・ジェームズは、プロダクション企業SpringHill EntertainmentとデジタルスポーツメディアプラットフォームであるUNINTERRUPTEDの共同設立者でもあります。彼がNBA 2Kのカバーを飾るのは、今回の『NBA 2K19』
20周年記念エディションで2度目となります。（前回は『NBA 2K14』）

『NBA 2K19』20周年記念エディションの価格は、デジタル版12,450円（税込）、パッケージ版13,824円（税込・数量限定）。PlayStation(R)4、Nintendo Switch（デジタル版のみ）、Windows PC（デジタル版のみ）、Xbox One（デジタル版のみ）に対応し2018年9月7日（金）発売予定です。日本での予約開始は、6月20日（水）を予定しております。（更なる詳細に関しては今後発表予定。）

『NBA 2K19』 通常版はPlayStation(R)4、Nintendo Switch、Windows PC、Xbox One に対応し2018年9月11日（火）発売予定です。また、発売日前には体験版「NBA2K19: The Prelude」の配信も予定されていて、詳細に関しては追って発表予定となります。
