INKINOGALLERYは、2月2日（土）～2月17日（日）にて、
フランスを拠点に活躍するアーティスト、 Oreの日本初個展を開催致します。
彼の作品は、特徴的なアステカの神、ケツァルコアトルのアイコンを中心に、社会的および政治的勢力によって触発されたトピックについての大規模な絵画や壁画を製作し、世界中の都市で拝見することができます。本人も来日致しますので、是非この機会にご覧ください。
※ケツァルコアトル：アステア神話の文化神・農耕神である。また、風の神とも考えられた。

Oréはフランスを拠点に1989年よりグラフィティを始めたアーティストです。10年間、彼はヨーロッパ中の都市に作品を発表し、 2000年代にメキシコを旅しながら、羽毛の蛇として描かれているアステカの神、ケツァルコアトルを発見。 この神話的なアイコンは彼の作品の特徴となっています。
アテネ、バルセロナ、ベルリン、ブリュッセル、ハンブルク、ロンドン、ロサンゼルス、メキシコ、パリ、サンフランシスコ、東京、バンクーバーなど、世界中の40都市の通りに彼のケツァルコアトルが描かれております。
グラフィティに加えて、旅することにより、社会的および政治的勢力によって触発されたトピックについての大規模な絵画や壁画を製作しております。 作品はフランスとイギリス、ドイツ、スペイン、ギリシャ、アメリカ、メキシコ、そしてニカラグアで展示されています。 彼は、定期的にアーバンアートフェスティバルやイベントに招聘され作品を発表しております。

Oré Street Artist
Based in France. Oré began to paint graffiti in 1989. For a decade, he tagged cities across Europe. Traveling in Mexico in the 2000's, he discovered Quetzalcoatl, the Aztec god which is portrayed as a feathered serpent. This mythological icon became an essential feature of his pictorial universe.
You can find his Quetzalcoatl pasted up in the streets of 40 cities all over France and the world, including: Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Hamburg, London, Los Angeles, Mexico, Paris, San Francisco, Tokyo, Vancouver.
In addition to his paste up work, he also creates large scale paintings and murals about topics inspired by his travels and also by social and political forces. His work has been exhibited in France and in the UK, Germany, Spain, Greece, USA, Mexico, and Nicaragua. He is regularly invited to urban art festivals and events.

「ロッキング・ザ・シティ」とは、グラフィティによって街中に芸術を広めることを表現し、羽をつけられたヘビ、ケツァルコアトルの作品を見ることにより共有することを目的にしております。世界中の都市に、Oréはグラフィティライターとして持っている、自身のエネルギーで絵を精力的に書き続けています。ストリートに展示されているケツァルコアトルの作品は、商業建築に、美しさ、好奇心、そして魂のタッチをもたらします。多くのストリートアーティストのように、オレは街に芸術をもたらすことによって私たちの街の見方を変えようとしております

"Rocking The City" is a phrase used in the graffiti movement to express the idea of spreading art all over the citaring his artworks about Quetzalcoatl, the feathered snake, in the cities all over the world, Oré keeps painting with the energy he had as a new graffiti writer.
The Quetzalcoatl pieces displayed in the streets bring a touch of beauty, curiosity, and soul to architecture dedicated to commercial purposes.
Oré, like a great number of urban artists, tries to change our view of the city by bringing art to the streets.
