『シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VI』のNintendo Switch版を、この秋発売することを発表いたしました。さらに、『シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VI』Nintendo Switch版を製作するにあたって、2KとFiraxis Gamesは、愛されつづけてきたシリーズにふさわしい作品として完成させるためにAspyrと提携することも決定いたしました。

2KならびにFiraxis Gamesは、大人気ストラテジーゲーム「シヴィライゼーション」シリーズの最新作として、2016年にベストストラテジー・オブ・ザ・イヤー賞を受賞した他、数々の輝かしい受賞歴を誇る『シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VI』のNintendo Switch版を、この秋発売することを発表いたしました。さらに、
『シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VI』Nintendo Switch版を製作するにあたって、2KとFiraxis Gamesは、愛されつづけてきたシリーズにふさわしい作品として完成させるためにAspyrと提携することも決定いたしました。

伝説的なゲームデザイナーであるシド・マイヤーによって生み出された「シヴィライゼーション」は、歴史に名を残す24人の指導者の中から１人を選び、世界を探検し、文化を発展させ、戦争を仕掛け、和平を結び、名だたる他の指導者たちと競い合いながら、“時の試練”に耐えうる国家の建設を目指すターン制ストラテジーゲームです。どこよりも科学の発展した文明となるか、強大な軍事力で世界を征服するか、または文化を極めて他国の模範となるか― ゲームに勝つ方法は実に様々で、プレイヤー次第。色々なスタイルで楽しんでいただけます。

『シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VI』Nintendo Switch版の内容は、PC 版の最新バージョンに準拠しています。また、新たな文明、指導者、シナリオが収録された以下の4つの追加コンテンツも含まれています。

今回発表された『シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VI』Nintendo Switch版の主な特徴:
・高い自由度: どこよりも科学の発達した文明となるか、強大な軍事力で世界を征服するか、文化を極めて他国の模範となるか。勝利への道筋を決めるのはプレイヤー自身。

・名だたる指導者たち: 様々な国、様々な時代の24人の指導者から1人を選ぶことが可能。エジプトのクレオパトラとなって巨万の富をもたらす交易路を築くことも、ローマのトラヤヌスとなって圧倒的な軍事力をふるうことも、日本の北条時宗となって文化を大いに発展させることも可能。指導者にはそれぞれ固有の能力、ユニット、施設があり、それらをどのように活用して勝利を目指すかはプレイヤーにゆだねられている。

・広大な帝国: マップの端から端まで帝国が広がっていく様子はまさに壮観。人跡未踏の地に入植し、周囲の土地を開発し、区域を増やし、都市をひいては文明を繁栄させよう。

・積極的な研究: 文明の進化を加速させるブーストを解除しよう。発展を早めるには、ユニットを使って精力的に探索を進め、周辺の環境をより良いものに変え、新たな文化を発見することが大切。

・変化する外交: 他文明との関係のあり方は、ゲームの進展にともなって変わっていく。初期の外交は原始的で、他の文明はすべて敵も同然だが、ゲーム後半は交渉と同盟が重要となる。

・心躍るユニークなシナリオ: 『シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VI』Nintendo Switch版には、4つのシナリオが用意されている。これらは史実を反映したシナリオで設定とプレイスタイルがそれぞれ異なっており、「アウトバックの覇者」ではオーストラリアへの入植、「ヤドヴィガの遺産」では侵略者からのポーランド防衛、バイキングの指導者となる「バイキングと交易商と略奪者」ではヨーロッパ征服、「アレキサンドロスの征服」では当時知られていた全世界の支配を目指すことになります。

・協力プレイと対戦プレイ:ローカル通信対戦で、最大4人での協力プレイや対戦プレイが可能。


『シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VI』Nintendo Switch版の日本での発売は、
2018年11月16日（金）にデジタル版、12月6日（木）にパッケージ版が発売予定となっております。『シドマイヤーズ シヴィライゼーション VI』はWindows PC対応版が好評販売中、iPad、Mac、Linux by Aspyrにも対応しております。
