米国カリフォルニア州サンノゼ-ウエスタンデジタルコーポレーション（NASDAQ:WDC）は、モバイル開発者向けの製品で、5Gスマートフォンのユーザーエクスペリエンスを向上させる新しい組み込み式ユニバーサルフラッシュストレージ（UFS）、Western Digital(R) iNAND(R) MC EU521( https://www.westerndigital.com/products/embedded-removable-flash/mobile-inand-ufs-series-embedded-flash-drives )を発表しました。ウエスタンデジタルは、JEDEC（半導体技術協会）のUFS 3.1規格に書き込みブースター技術の適用を支援しており、UFS 3.1 5Gアプリケーション向けに最適化されたストレージソリューションを業界で初めて提供しました。

ウエスタンデジタルのiNAND MC EU521組み込み型フラッシュデバイスにより、モバイル開発者はUFS 3.1準拠の高いインターフェイス帯域幅（ギア4/2レーン）およびSLC（シングルレベルセル）NANDキャッシュの能力を最大限に活用できます。さらに、最大800MB/秒*のターボシーケンシャル書き込み速度により、4K/8Kメディアのダウンロード、クラウドからの大容量ファイルの転送、およびゲーム用途などのユーザーエクスペリエンスを向上させることができます。iNAND EU521は、製品容量128GB**モデルと256GBモデルで3月より提供予定しています。
