元フジテレビ社員、元フリーマントルメディア日本代表の石山 辰吾氏、株式会社BIGFACE 取締役制作局長に就任

株式会社BIGFACE(代表取締役：水野 英明、本社：東京都中央区銀座8-20-33 銀座サンケイビル)は、元フジテレビ社員で、ソニー・ピクチャーズ経営幹部としてアニマックスブロードキャスト・ジャパン取締役副社長兼ゼネラルマネージャー、そして世界最大のテレビ制作会社のひとつであるフリーマントルメディア(本社：ロンドン)の日本法人代表などを歴任した石山 辰吾氏(日本コロムビア株式会社取締役)を4月1日付で取締役制作局長として迎え、組織体制を新たにすることを発表いたします。

石山氏は84年株式会社フジテレビジョン入社、スポーツ、制作、編成、営業、経営企画、海外部門(米国法人LA支社長)など幅広い分野を歩み、05年にフジ退社後は、ソニー・ピクチャーズ、フリーマントルメディアと外資系最大手で活躍、日本最古のレコード会社である日本コロムビアの社外取締役や、携帯電話の着メロを世界で初めて考案実用化した株式会社フェイスの執行役員を務めてきました。

BIGFACE Co., Ltd. is proud to announce and welcome Shingo Ishiyama as its Board Director and Head of Production.

Shingo Ishiyama brings with him over twenty-eight years of experience in the media and entertainment industry. He began his career at Fuji Television Network where for twenty-one years he garnered knowledge in various capacities including the sports division, production, programming, sales and corporate strategy. From 2001-2003, Mr. Ishiyama was the General Manager at Fuji TV's affiliate office in Los Angeles, CA. He later worked for Sony Pictures Entertainment, FremantleMedia, Faith, Inc. and served on the board of Nippon Columbia, the oldest record company in Japan.

BIGFACE is an entertainment production company founded in 2007 which has a wide range of abilities including variety show creation, info-tainment, animation, and original format distribution for the domestic and international markets. The company also creates applications and games for the smart phone market which have strong functionality. BIGFACE recently announced its alliance with FremantleMedia in December 2010 as the official agency for format distribution in and from Japan.

Hideaki Mizuno, the representative director and founder of BIGFACE has executed projects with Dentstu, Fuji TV, TV Asahi, Asahi Broadcasting and intends to further the company's strategic partnerships with border-less business deployment. "Mr. Ishiyama will strengthen and enhance our production as well as allowing us to advance our international development strategies. His rich experience, deep understanding and vast network both in and out of the industry adds tremendous value."

Mr. Ishiyama holds degree from Waseda University and a Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. He officially joins the company as of April 1, 2012 and will be based in Tokyo.
