「YOASOBI」NY単独公演をレポート！ ファン6000人が「UNDEAD」「アイドル」「夜に駆ける」に熱狂

　さらに「日本語がわかる人もいるかもしれないので、日本語でも良いですか？」と観客に尋ねたAyase。「100年近い歴史のあるこのステージで、こうやってワンマンをやることができて、ソールドアウトすることができて、本当に嬉しいです。Thank you, ありがとう！」と頭を下げ、再び英語で言葉を紡いだ。

「I walked around a little bit and New York is a wonderful city. One of my favorite city so far, I guess I really like this city. Enjoy the show to the fullest. Let’s get down together, and make it a perfect night!」

　満を持して披露されたのは、アニメ「【推しの子】」主題歌の「アイドル」。レーザー、フォッグ、ストロボ、3Dメガネを駆使したショーと、ikuraの変幻自在なボーカルが観客を魅了し、場内のボルテージは最高潮に。ikuraと共に“熱唱”する者もいたほどだ。

　ボーカルのikuraは、ニューヨークでの体験を振り返った。

「Thank you so much for coming, Today!I would like to share a story from my childhood. In elementary school, I acted in musical theater group when I was 9, I had an opportunity to perform at The Kaye Playhouse in New York, I only had 3 lines. But the experiences is still fresh in my mind. It feels like dream to be back in New York as a singer and perform the songs at amazing theater in front of so many fans, thank you so much! I believe not giving up on my dreams is what made this moment possible, it brought me here today. So, this is the very message of next song, sing along with us, ok!」
