文書の下には皇太子妃の手書きで、アイリッシュガーズのモットーである「Quis Separabit（誰が私達を引き離そうというのか）」の言葉と、「Colonel Catherine（キャサリン大佐）」の署名が記された。



公式Xの別の投稿では、アイリッシュガーズの連隊員の前でキャサリン皇太子妃の手紙が読み上げられる動画が公開された。手紙を読み終えると、連隊員からは大きな拍手が巻き起こった。
