エッジーでユニークなエレクトロニック・ミュージックを東京のシーンと連結させるパーティVITALが、TresorのChloe Lulaに続き、ベルリンの音楽シーンでエキサイティングな存在として注目を集めている奇才Lawrence Leeを招く。
 
ニューヨークで生まれ、現在拠点をベルリンに置くLawrence Leeは、レーベルA7A Recordsのファウンダーであり、Panorama Barの人気クィアナイトLUSHやRinse Franceでのマンスリープログラムも手がけ、ヨーロッパを中心とする世界中からのオファーに応えている。
アメリカのレイヴとウェアハウス・カルチャーに影響を受けたLawrenceのプロダクションの大きな魅力は、エレクトロやベースの要素をもつ疾走感のあるテクノで、それはジャンルに縛られない奔放でレイヴィーなDJセットに於いても強いアイデンティティになっている。音の高低をコントロールしながら、ときに仕掛けるマッドなアタックはドーパミンが吹きだす極上のダンスタイムを味わわせてくれそうだ。
 


ローカルからはVITALをキュレーションする二人、東京屈指のクィア・パーティMOTORPOOLのレジデント、プロデューサーのMAYUDEPTHと、アンダーグラウンドパーティや、ruralを始めとする大型フェスで特別な空間を描くAkey。さらにエネルギッシュなクィア・テクノパーティSWITCHを主催するKaliと、東京のエレクトロニック・パーティの核心ROIROからKOSEIが登場。
この夜のLawrenceとの音楽交換の奥深さに期待せずにはいられない、格好のラインナップが整った。

「Groove-Inducing Dopamine: The Latest from Berlin’s Electro/Rave Scene」


Following their invitation of Tresor’s resident Chloe Lula, VITAL—a party known for connecting edgy and unique electronic music—welcomes the genius of the electro/rave scene, Lawrence Lee, who also hosts the renowned LUSH night at Panorama Bar.
Born in New York and now based in Berlin, Lawrence Lee stands out as one of the most exciting figures in the ever-evolving Berlin music scene. As the founder of A7A Records and co-founder/resident of Panorama Bar’s celebrated queer night LUSH, Lawrence also manages a monthly programme on Rinse France while taking on invitations from across Europe and beyond. Deeply influenced by American rave and warehouse culture, Lawrence’s DJ style and productions feature driving techno infused with elements of electro and breakbeats, a signature reflected in his work on A7A and in his genre-defying, high-energy sets. His uninhibited, rave-centric approach is marked by a strong identity, and his mastery of sound dynamics—often unleashing maddening sonic attacks—promises a dancefloor experience filled with dopamine and exhilaration.
Representing the Tokyo scene are VITAL’s curators and pillars: MAYUDEPTH, co-curator and resident of Tokyo’s leading queer party MOTORPOOL, who has also been recognized by Seattle’s queer label Bottom Forty and Berlin’s BUTTONS; and Akey, a regular at underground parties and major techno festivals, known for creating unique spaces with leftfield, wave, and deeply immersive techno. Joining the lineup are Kali, organizer of the queer techno party SWITCH, who seamlessly blends energy, intelligence, and speed, and KOSEI, a core member of Tokyo’s cutting-edge electronic party ROIRO. Together, this stellar roster is perfectly set to maximize the interplay with Lawrence Lee, making this night’s musical exchange a deeply profound and unforgettable experience.
