独特のニュアンスのイラストや写真を混在させた作品で知られるアーティスト、Chrissie Abbott。エッジとガーリーさを併せ持つセンスで世界中の女性から熱い視線を集めている彼女のインスピレーションの源から、好きなドレスやお気に入りのコスメまでを教えてもらった。

ーーPlease tell us about yourself

ーーあなたのことを教えて！

 Chrissie　I am an illustrator, designer and art director. I'm originally from London but now i live in Melbourne. I like cats, rainbows and plants.

Chrissie「私は、イラストレーター、デザイナーでありアート・ディレクターのクリッシー・アボットです。元々はロンドンにいましたが、今はオーストラリアのメルボルンにいます。猫と虹と植物が好きです」

ーーPlease tell us about your favorite out fit of the day .Please show us the pic if you can?

ーー一番好きなアウトフィットはどれか教えてください。

 Chrissie　　I have this dress that I love to wear for fun parties or special occasions. Its got a big colourful 60’s print and makes me feel happy.

 Chrissie「パーティーとか特別な日に着るドレスがあります。60年代の凄くカラフルなプリントが施されていて、私をハッピーにしてくれるんです」

ーーPlease show us your studio and  your collage work.

ーースタジオの様子とコラージュの作品を見せてもらえますか。

Chrissie  Sure.

Chrissie「もちろん」

ーーWhere do you get your inspiration from?

ーーどういう時にインスピレーションを受ける？

Chrissie 　Everywhere! Nature, conversations, books, music, tv, the past, memories, friends & enemies!

Chrissie「どこにいても！自然、人との会話、本、音楽、テレビ、過去、記憶、友達、そしてライバル！」

ーーCan you show us textile work you did in the past?

ーー今までにやったテキスタイルの作品を見せてくれる？

Chrissie　I worked on a repeat patten for Australian sleepwear brand ALAS the label. I made a repeat mushroom pattern for them to use on kimono’s nightdresses and pyjamas.

Chrissie「オーストラリアの寝間着ブランドALASとコラボレーションをしてテキスタイルを作りました。着物型のナイトドレスとパジャマにマッシュルーム柄のパターンを作りました」

ーーCan you show us some collaboration work you did with fashion brand?　And concept behind it.

ーーファッションブランドとコラボレーションした作品を見せてください。どういうコンセプトで作ったんですか？

Chrissie　　I designed bags for Belgian underwear company called La Fille D’o the concept was to celebrate the female form whilst having a sense of humour. You can use it as a bag or a hat.

Chrissie「La Fille D`oというベルギーの下着ブランドの為にバッグを作りました。これは、女性の体の形をユーモアを持って賞賛するというもの。バッグとしても使えるし、帽子にもなります」

ーーCan you show us a work you did on your zine?　Please show us your favorite cosmetic you use.

ーーあなたが作っているZINEを見せてください。あと、お気に入りのコスメはある？

Chrissie 　too faced blusher!  I love the packaging and the colour is perfect.

Chrissie「too faced blusher!です。パッケージと色が完璧！」
