■「Welcome Japan Summit 2024」について
「Welcome Japan Summit」は、年に１回、世界難民の日（6月20日）を前に、コレクティブインパクトや、難民・移民の受け入れに関心のある企業・団体・学生、学校関係者、難民・移民の背景を持つ方々、そして国際機関が集い、各分科会のこれまでの取り組み、および今後の展望を発表し、多様なセクターの皆さまと対話をする場です。世界、および日本における難民を含めたインクルーシブな社会を目指した活動も紹介します。

第3回開催となる今回の「Welcome Japan Summit 2024」は、2つの基調パネルディスカッションを行い、日本での難民包摂推進のヒントを探ります。

基調パネルI：オーストラリアで難民包摂に取り組む担い手をお招きし　「オーストラリアの社会全体での難民包摂の取り組みに学ぶ」をテーマに、オーストラリアで取り組まれている活動の成果報告とディスカッションを行います。

基調パネルII：「DXによる難民包摂の可能性」をテーマに、デジタルの活用によって、難民包摂がどのように拡張可能かをDXの専門家と共にディスカッションします。

この他、2023年12月にスイス・ジュネーブで開催された「第二回グローバル難民フォーラム」を受け、難民のナラティブの変革や難民包摂に向けたイノベーションを取り扱う基調パネルを行い、Welcome Japanの各分科会が発信しているPledge（宣言）の説明と進捗を共有します。

　一般社団法人 Welcome Japanは、「難民も日本も、みんなでたくましく」をパーパスに掲げ2021年11月に設立した、「難民包摂による日本社会の多様化」と「難民自身のWell-being」の実現のため、日本社会全体で多様な包摂の拡充を目指す中間支援組織です。

　難民問題が深刻化の一途を辿り社会全体による包摂が求められている中、日本の難民包摂に向けたマルチセクター連携を加速させるべく、国連難民高等弁務官事務所（UNHCR）ともコミュニケーションを取りながら多岐に渡る分科会を組成し重要アジェンダに関する対話を重ねています。また、分科会での検討過程や調査資料を社会発信にも繋げ、多様な社会変容に向けた求心力・遠心力を生みだしていきます。

■About Welcome Japan Summit 2024
The 'Welcome Japan Summit' is an annual event held prior to World Refugee Day (June th),
bringing together diverse stakeholders who are interested in collective impact and refugee
admission, presenting ongoing efforts and its long-term targets by each Welcome Japan
working group, and promoting dialogue with diverse sectors. Initiatives aimed at fostering a refugee inclusive society, both globally and in Japan, will also be highlighted.

Welcome Japan Summit 2024 will feature two keynote panels to find clues to promote innovations towards refugee inclusion in Japan.

Keynote Panel I: Learning insights for refugee inclusion in Japan from individuals who have taken initiatives in Australia. They will report their activism and hold a discussion.

Keynote Panel II: Discussing the potential of utilizing digital tools for expanding refugee inclusion with experts on digital transformation.

Furthermore, during the Global Refugee Forum (GRF) Follow-up Session, progress of the pledges made by Welcome Japan's various subcommittees at the Global Refugee Forum 2023 will be shared.
