秋田犬x先端技術で地方創生に取り組む株式会社メタ秋田（公益社団法人秋田犬保存会の公認スピンオフ企業）は、福島県の喜多方ラーメン製造の老舗・株式会社河京、長崎県のパッケージデザインメーカー・岩㟢紙器と共同で犬用ラーメン「わんわんラーメン」を制作。2024年8月23日（金）よりマルイオンラインストア 秋田犬特設サイト内の販売ページにて発売中です。

【地方が誇る文化と技術が融合した新商品】
「わんわんラーメン」企画は「地方が誇る文化と技術の融合」をテーマにスタート。秋田県が誇る「秋田犬」をデザインモチーフとし、創業64年を迎えた長崎県の岩㟢紙器がパッケージを制作、喜多方ラーメンの老舗である福島県の河京が犬用のラーメンを開発し、商品化しました。

【喜多方ラーメンの平打ち中太縮れ麺を再現した犬用ラーメン】
「わんわんラーメン」は喜多方ラーメンの特徴である平打ち中太縮れ麺を再現した犬用ラーメンで、麺は厳選した小麦粉と喜多方の水「栂峰渓流水」を使用したこだわりの一品。鶏肉エキスとホタテエキスを使用した食塩不使用のスープと国産鶏胸肉のトッピングと合わせて味わうことが可能で、愛犬に喜んでもらえること間違いなしの商品です。

わんわんラーメンはペットフード安全基準を満たした商品です。与える量は、体重5kg以下の場合で麺3分の1玉と鶏胸肉入スープ1袋。体重5～15kgの場合は麺3分の2玉と鶏胸肉入スープ2袋、体重15kg以上の場合は麺1玉と鶏胸肉入スープ3袋を目安にしてください。

Meta Akita Inc., a company dedicated to regional revitalization through the fusion of Akita Inu and advanced technology (officially recognized as a spin-off of the Akita Inu Preservation Society), has collaborated with Kawakyo, a long-established producer of Kitakata ramen in Fukushima Prefecture, and Iwasaki Shiki, a packaging design manufacturer in Nagasaki Prefecture, to create dog-friendly ramen called "Wanwan* Ramen." It is now available for purchase on the Akita Inu Special Site within the Marui Online Store starting Friday, August 23, 2024.

[A New Product That Fuses Regional Pride in Culture and Technology]
The "Wanwan Ramen" project was launched under the theme of "Fusion of Regional Pride in Culture and Technology." The design motif features the Akita Inu, a symbol of pride for Akita Prefecture. The packaging was crafted by Iwasaki Shiki, a Nagasaki-based company with a 64-year history, and the ramen for dogs was developed by Kawakyo, a renowned Kitakata ramen producer from Fukushima Prefecture.

[Dog-Friendly Ramen Inspired by Kitakata Ramen’s Flat, Wavy Medium-Thick Noodles]
"Wanwan Ramen" is a dog-friendly ramen that replicates the signature flat, wavy medium-thick noodles of Kitakata Ramen. The noodles are made with carefully selected wheat flour and Kitakata's renowned "Togaminedake Spring Water," ensuring a high-quality product. The ramen is paired with a salt-free broth made from chicken and scallop extracts, along with a topping of domestically sourced chicken breast, creating a delicious treat that is sure to delight your pet.

Wanwan Ramen meets pet food safety standards. For feeding guidelines, it is recommended to give one-third of a noodle portion and one packet of chicken breast soup for dogs weighing under 5 kg, two-thirds of a noodle portion and two packets of chicken breast soup for dogs weighing between 5-15 kg, and one full noodle portion and three packets of chicken breast soup for dogs weighing over 15 kg.
