■MakerDAOについて
MakerDAOは、ステーブルコイン「Dai」の発行・管理を行うプロジェクトです。
ステーブルコインとは価格の変動が少ない暗号資産を意味し、Facebookの主導のLibraなどに代表されます。
MakerDAOは、ブロックチェーンを活用することでこのステーブルコインを自律分散的（DAO：Decentralized Autonomous Organizarion）に運営している点が特徴的です。

MakerDAOのような、ブロックチェーンを活用した金融プロジェクトのことを「分散型金融（DeFi）」と呼び、FinTechの次の潮流として全世界で注目を集めています。
その中でもMakerDAOは、米国を代表するベンチャーキャピタル「Andreessen Horowitz」からも投資を受けている有数のプロジェクトです。

■協業の背景
株式会社techtecの運営するPoLでは、様々な業界におけるブロックチェーンの活用事例をオンライン上で学習することができます。
これまでに、ブロックチェーンを活用したプロジェクトの運営母体と共同でカリキュラムを制作することにより、質の高いコンテンツを提供してきました。

今回、金融業界におけるブロックチェーン活用事例カリキュラムを制作にするにあたり、MakerDAOへアプローチしたところ、日本でプロジェクトの認知拡大を強めたいとの意向と合致したため、今回の協業が実現しました。

■協業の内容
カリキュラムでは、ステーブルコインDaiやMakerDAOの推進する次世代組織DAOについて学習することができます。
「なぜステーブルコインが必要なのか」「どのように価格を安定させているのか」といった内容だけでなく、近日中に行われるアップデートについても触れていきます。

本カリキュラムはMakerDAOとの共同制作であり、カリキュラム公開後も継続的な協業を模索していきます。
なお、カリキュラムの公開は9月末~10月初旬を予定しております。
