ゲッセマネは、キリストがはりつけの前夜に祈りをした庭で、最後の審判の前の不穏な静けさと胸騒ぎのする場所だった。現在の私たちは皆、解決策を待つだけの緊張した日々を生きている。壊滅的であろうと合理的であろうと、まるで聖書のような原始的で野蛮な劇場的サスペンスに満ち溢れた毎日を過ごしている。

私の庭といえばパンデミック禍における全てのランウェイショーを行っている、ヴェネツィアのリドにある家の前のビーチ。コンコルディアの私の工場から車で2時間の距離にあり、人通りの少なく、ミニマルで無観客、そしてホームグラウンドのムードは今の瞬間にふさわしいと感じる。移動制限に伴うヘアメイクやプロダクションのチームの縮小は、ランウェイショーというものをコンセプトからクライマックスまで私たちの小さな コンコルディアのチームで作り上げ、共有するというプライベートセレモニーへと変化させ、15年間行ってきたパリでのショーとは全く新しい方法 で私たちを結びつけることができた。
ほぼ全てのルックの下にスキンタイトなレザーのボディスーツを着用している。上半身を腰から垂れ下げて着ていたり、全面にスパンコールが施されているものもある。私はここ数シーズンボディスーツをフィーチャーしてきたが、最初はボリューム感のある固くて彫刻的なものから始まり、徐々に現在の布張りのシフトレバーのような、自己収納型の密閉型ボディカバーの形に変化していった。
これらのボディースーツの上を飾るのは建築的ブルドーザーとでも言うべきパワーショルダーのケープや、1 月のメンズのショーでフォーカスした男性の攻撃性と、逸脱した保守主義を嘲笑うパワーショルダーのボンバージャケット。ちょうど同じ時期にワシントンで起きた衝撃的な出来事とイメージが重なる。

パワーショルダーは恐怖と不安への反応であり、脅威に直面した時の抵抗を表現している。これまでのパンデミック禍におけるショーではモデルにマスクを着用させてきた。というのは私のマスクをしていれば絶対安心だからというわけではなく、責任と配慮への敬意の表明であり、我々が皆、現在経験している事態の認識を示している。
リサイクルされたプラスチック廃棄物から作られたテイラードジャケットは、袖を引き裂き、ボリューム感のあるダウンの袖に置き換えられている。この袖はスナップボタンで取り外しが可能。
聖書では、自らの衣服を引き裂くことは怒り、もしくは深い悲しみの行為とされている。これがコレクションで使用された、切り裂かれたブラッ クデニムに込められた意味合い。これをまた引き裂かれたようなグラフィックのパターンに落とし込み、副産物として生産されたムートンや牛革をパッチワークしてコートやジャケットを作った。
すっきりとしたシルエットのバックレスロングスリーブのシェードガウンは、厚手のビスコースニット、スパンコールニット、ブラックオーバーダイデニムで展開。ボディスーツと同様に、トップスはヒップから垂れ下がり、時にはTシャツを合わせている。
ギャザーを寄せたスパンコールのTバックは、淡々とした実用的な謙虚さに光沢を加えるために、リサイクルカシミアのボディスーツの上に着用 されている。これらのリサイクルカシミアの糸は、引き上げてボディ部分を二重にして切られるセーターや、ゆったりとしたブランケットのように大きいフード付きのローブに使用。聖書的だ。こういったフード付きローブはテントサイズのダウンブランケットやスパンコールで覆われたデニムでも展開している。

最新のメンズショーで使用した際限ない男性の攻撃性を表現したブリーフをシンプルな牛革のハンドバッグに巻き、女性のイブニングクラッチを作った。
ヘビーワークシャツは、1945年に設立された日本・岡山の山足織物の坂本式自動シャトル織機で米国向けに特注で織ったブラックの縦 糸・横糸を使用した、16 オンスのセルビッチデニムを使用。これは以前から取り組んでいる日本製の DRKSHDW カプセルコレクションのアイテムだ。
サウンドトラックには GHOSTEMANE による「SQUUEZE」のエクスクルーシブ EXTENDED REMIX を使用した。メンズのショーでもGHOSTEMANEのサウンドトラックを使用。あらゆる面で抑圧された男性の怒りを表現したが、もちろん、抑圧された怒りは男性特有のものではないのだ。
