「A BATHING APE(R)」は、初となるマリリン・モンローとのコラボレーションコレクションを発表、2020年8月29日より、全国のBAPE STORE(R)で発売します。

A BATHING APE(R)’s first ever collaboration with Marilyn Monroe will be available at Japanese BAPE STORE(R) locations from Saturday,August 29th, 2020.

1926年6月1日、アメリカ合衆国 カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルに生まれた女優兼モデル、「マリリン・モンロー（Marilyn Monroe）」。1955年に公開された映画『The Seven Year Itch』、1959年公開の『Some Like It Hot』などに出演し、ハリウッドを代表する女優として不動の人気を博した。セックスシンボルと言われるその美しさと、あどけなさで20世紀を代表するスターとなりました。現在でも過去最高に写真を撮られた女性と言われ、彼女の魅力は半世紀以上が経った今でも色あせることがありません。
