Commvault の新 CEO 就任

クラウドとオンプレミス環境におけるデータ管理のグローバル エンタープライズ向けソフトウェア リーダーである Commvault (本社：米国ニュージャージー州、NASDAQ: CVLT) は、Sanjay Mirchandani(https://www.commvault.com/about-us/leadership )をプレジデント兼最高経営責任者 (CEO) および取締役に任命し、即時発効したことを発表しました。退任するプレジデント兼 CEO の Bob Hammer(https://www.commvault.com/about-us/leadership )の後任となる Sanjay は、オレゴン州を拠点とするインフラ構築の自動化ソリューションを提供する企業、Puppet の前 CEO になります。

Bob は 20 年以上、Commvault を指揮し、時価総額 31 億ドルの企業となるまでに成長させました。また、Bob が名誉会長として取締役会に留まること、会長の後任として Nick Adamo(https://www.commvault.com/about-us/leadership )が任命されたことが発表されました。いずれの変更も 2019 年 4 月 18 日に有効となります。

Sanjay の任命により、持続的な業績向上をより一層推進し、Commvault の成長を加速させるための変革イニシアティブの一環として始まった(https://www.commvault.com/news/2018/may/commvault-announces-new-governance-initiatives-to-support-strategic-transformation-plan )広範囲にわたるグローバル エグゼクティブの人材発掘活動を終了します。Sanjay は、VMware、EMC、Microsoft で上級幹部職を歴任しており、IT 変革についての豊富な専門知識を有しています。Puppet 在籍時には、オープンソースおよび商用ソリューションのユーザー ベースを、Fortune 100 の企業の 75％ を含む 4 万社以上に拡大しました。
