KINDWARE Co., Ltd. Announces the Corporate Name (Trade Name) change to WATAKI Co., Ltd.





株式会社カインドウェア（本社：東京都港区　CEO：渡邊祥一郎）は、
2024年5月1日をもって「WATAKI株式会社」に社名（商号）を変更いたします。
1894年、初代渡邊喜之助が東京日本橋の洋服商「渡喜商店」として創業。
以来130年、革新を続けながら、世界に必要とされる商品とサービスを生み出し続けて
おりますが、グローバル市場での展開を一層強化、海を渡り世界中のお客様に手に取って
いただくため、また企業としての原点に立ち返り、創業時の屋号である「渡喜商店」の
「渡喜」を、世界に向けて発信するために、社名を英語表記の「WATAKI株式会社」に
変更いたします。社名変更後も、これまでと変わらぬご愛顧を賜りますよう、
何卒よろしくお願い申し上げます。

KINDWARE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shoichiro Watanabe) will
change its company name (trade name) to "WATAKI Co., Ltd." effective May 1, 2024.
Founded in 1894 by the first-generation KINOSUKE WATANABE as a clothing store
"WATAKI SHOTEN" in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
For the past 130 years, while continuing to innovate, we have been creating products and services that are needed in the world. In order to further strengthen our presence in the global market and reach customers worldwide, and to return to the roots of the company, we will change the name to "WATAKI Co., Ltd." using the original name of "WATAKI SHOTEN" at the time of establishment.
We sincerely appreciate your continued patronage even after the name change.

３．社名（商号）変更日 2024年5月1日

４．ご案内事項
１）弊社の法人番号、営業拠点、電話番号の変更はございません。
２）締結済みの契約書、及び2024年4月30日までに締結した契約書は、旧社名のままで、商号変更完了以降も
引き続き有効です。ただし、新商号への変更が必要な契約書等がございましたら、お申し付けくださいますよう、お願いいたします。
３）銀行口座の名義変更は商号変更登記完了後の手続きとなるため、当面は現社名のままとなります。
関連する諸手続きに関しては、名義変更手続き完了次第、弊社コーポレートサイトにてご案内いたします。
４）「KINDWARE」「KINDCARE」のブランド名変更はございません。

4. Information
(1) Our corporate identification number, sales offices, and telephone numbers remain unchanged.
(2) Contracts that have already been executed, as well as those executed by April 30, 2024, will remain valid after the corporate name change. However, if there are contracts or other agreements that require changes to the new trade name, we remain at your disposal.
(3) The name change of bank accounts will be completed after the registration of the trade name
change, so the current company name will remain in effect for the time being.
We will provide information on related procedures on our corporate website as soon as the name change procedure is completed.
(4) The brand names "KINDWARE" and "KINDCARE" will remain unchanged.
