Kyoto Moms Venture Wins Governor's Award in Kyoto Women's Entrepreneur Awards

　京都のおかん（母親）発ベンチャーのKyoto with Kids (株式会社たおやかカンパニー　代表: 赤坂美保）は、京都府主催の第8回京都女性起業家賞 （アントレプレナー賞）にて京都府知事賞 子育て関連事業賞 を受賞いたしました。

Kyoto with Kidsは、オーバーツーリズムの京都で、未来を担うお子さまを連れた、家族観光客にこそ一生心に残る思い出を作ってほしいという思いで、地元の子育て中の母親たちが立ち上げました。
主に子育て中のママがガイドとして、有名観光地ではなく人が少なく、子どもものびのびと楽しめる場所へ家族観光客を案内します。また、ガイドは自分のお子さんを連れての案内も可能としていますので、子育て中のママが活躍できる場を増やすことも目指しております。
この春にはラインナップを拡充し、単なる観光を超えた、地域との交流体験を世界中からのご家族にどんどん提供してまいります。

これからも地域のみなさまと一緒に、海外からのお子様連れご家族と地域を結び、子ども達のためによりよい未来を創っていきたいと思っております。

Kyoto with Kids (Taoyaka Co. representative: Miho Akasaka), a venture started by Kyoto moms, won the Governor's Award for the Childcare Related Business section of the 8th Annual Kyoto Women's Entrepreneur Awards.

Kyoto with Kids was started by local moms who wanted families from abroad visiting Kyoto, a city crowded with many tourists, with their kids to make memories which would last a lifetime.
Guided by the staff of mostly local moms, the tours take families to places not necessarily found in guide books, but rather places where kids can relax and enjoy themselves. The guides are also able to bring their own children on the tours they lead as the company has the goal of giving moms currently raising kids more places where they can play an active role.

From this spring they are expanding their lineup, more than just sightseeing, they will offer families visiting from all over the world the opportunity to interact with the local community. They hope to continue to be a bridge between the local community and families traveling with their children from overseas in order to make a better future for the children.

Kyoto with Kids provides services including tours made for families traveling to Kyoto from abroad, childcare with foreign language support (including childcare at international conferences, etc), and educational tours for groups visiting Japan.

Moms currently raising kids in Kyoto started this project with the hope of making a better future for their children. They believe that through travel, we can make a peaceful future in which kids have hope. For the community, for the world, for ourselves: from moms to many others in different stages of life, they have created a place where each individual can showcase their strengths.

They aim to create a peaceful future through sightseeing by promoting collaboration with local accommodation facilities and residents of the community
