コフィ・アナン負の遺産──国連はなぜルワンダ虐殺を止められなかったのか？

故人を惜しみつつ、将来、ジェノサイドのような残虐行為が繰り返されないためにも、改めてルワンダのジェノサイドにおける国連の責任の検証を提言したい。

国連ボランティアで活動後、UNHCR（国連難民高等弁務官事務所）では、ルワンダ、ケニア、コンゴ民主共和国、スーダン、コンゴ共和国、ジュネーブ本部などで勤務。コンゴ民主共和国のゴマ事務所長を歴任。専門分野は紛争と平和、人道支援、難民。著書に『世界最悪の紛争「コンゴ」～平和以外に何でもある国』（創成社、2010 年）など。
